Bubanj 2018
This small hill just above the city of Nish, Bubanj, was the place where German soldiers executed the citizens of Nis and surrounding places. They were kept in the concentration camp, Crveni Krst, (Red Chross) located in Nis, Serbia and they would be broth here for the execution. The monuments were build in the memory of all people who lost their lives from the period of 1941 to 1945. The monuments are 3 standing upright fists representing the brave people. The people use to say "They shot us, but they never killed us"
